Driven by his passion for golfing, the amateur golfer Adam Pamer grabbed the initiative in 1996 to build a golf course which had to satisfy his requirements in quality and design.
In 1998, the just under 160 hectares big "Finca Son Gual" , adjacent to the gates of the island's metropolis Palma de Mallorca was chosen and the selection of the architects began.
Competing with many famous architects, the top amateur and multiple German champion Thomas Himmel was awarded the contract for the planning and project monitoring due to his convincing and outstanding design.
The building permit end of 2003 was followed by the start of construction at the beginning of 2004. After just under 3 ½ years of work Son Gual was opened in September 2007.

The result is an 18 hole golf course with harmonious and diverse fairways carved out of the undulating ground surrounding the listed "Palacio".
It was first priority to design a course that is fair to play on for every golfer of any strength. Large sand and water features give the course its unique character.

At Son Gual Golf the member is the centre of attention.
Every golfer will feel comfortable due to the high standards in quality and course maintenance. Excellent training opportunities, the modern and stylish ambiance of the clubhouse and the exquisite kitchen, separated members-area, sauna and massage opportunities complete the services available.
Guest are more than welcome. Restricted tee-off times for green fee guests means preferential treatment for members and their personal guests to enjoy the course in peace.
